Could someone please tell me how to mod Halo 2 for the xbox 360. My friend wants to mod his so he can make the weapons do all kinds of crazy stuff for some reason. It would help a lot, thanks. LOL

What exactly is an XSATA and is there a way I can do it without it. IF so how?

It's a cable you can get at any retail electronics store. You have to use it or some other type of cable to connect your 360 and your computer. I don't know of any other ways to connect them though.

The 360 auto aim, that shoots through walls right. And does it give you infinite gernades or just ammo.

I was looking at some of the instructions and what are some of the levels it will mod and what about the old levels. What happens to them?

There are different patches for each level, whatever levels you patch will be modded. It does not give you infinite grenades, only ammo. The old maps will stay unmodded.

Is there a way to unmod them for when I play xbox live. And then mod them back when I play system link?

You must keep unmodded backups and modded backups of your maps. That way, you can overwrite the maps for XBL and system link.

What do you mean by modded and unmodded backups are you talking about the game disc, or something else. What is it?

Are there any ways to mod maps like coagulation or lockout that were originally on there?

Refering back to the site you sent me to. Does locate containment file just mean know where it is or to double click on it?

1. I mean create extra copies that you will store on your computer until you use them.

2. Do you want to mod these levels on XBL?

3. It means to click on it and select open.

4. $50

If I can use them for custom games Yes!, but you said it only works for new maps. That's why I asked about the original maps if it is possible.
