I recently purchased a Dell inspiron 600m.When I try to download software the % stays at zero it doesnt give an estimated time or status bar.Then an error pops up saying unable to connect to the site I'm trying to download from.Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a browser/firewall issue. have you checked through your settings?
