LOL I have been to alot of forums and i myself have a ps3 and a Xbox.
i seen many of u saying that xbox360 owned ps3? ur sure?
saying that sony is bullshit?
ok let me get this stright for u
i played Gears of War in xbox 360 and Gears of War is still not yet next-gen. IT HAS GRAPHIC ERRORS IN IT! its like wad other PCs have. ERRORS!.
tell u the truth not saying which is best but from what i say.
PS3 will best better the long lasting then xbox 360.
why?
u see xbox 360 still uses damn DVD drive using dual layer.
wheres else ps3 uses blue-ray.
ps3 uses cells
xbox uses cores

I dropped my 360 from like 5 ft and it didnt break actually the only thing that happend was a butterfly spring came out of teh faceplate! that puts that theory to the rest!

u have forgot that a ps3 is goin for around £480 and yuo can pick up an xbox 360 for £200 so there is a minor difference is price dont you think however i can not afford a ps3 so i have a 360 and very pleased with it and for good value for money it was worth every penny,.
£480 + for a ps3 is a bit of a waste to me.

Can you point out 1 game on the PS3 that looks better then Gears of War?. no you can't, and Epic have said themselfs that GoW is not using all the 360's power, and that GOW2 will look even better.

This part my be true, but who cares? in 5 or 6 years time from now we will all be playing on our xbox 720's with super realistic graphics While you still stuck playing on your PS3's.

This has to be one of the most dumb statements ever you think that = better?, go and do some reading up on the Xbox 360 and PS3 hardware.
BTW i should tell you now that the Xbox 360's GPU owns the PS3 GPU, so that Cell of yours has a very "BIG" Bottle neck.

Yes Home looks good, i'll give you that, but not every game will work with it or can be launched from within etc.
and 360 has live, and whats to stop MS from bringing out their own version of Home?, plus atrai is already working on a "home beater", whats to stop MS from getting it ported to the 360?

A bletooth link can be broken very easily, so the controller's range is actually less than 10m if there is a table or some other object near your console. ..And the rules state that fanboys (like yourself) can't bullshit about the PS3's pros comparing to the 360's cons in the 360 section. ....One more thing...how many games does the PS3 have for it.....4?.....5?

Idiot. Power isn't the only factor that determines whether a console is next gen; otherwise, the PS3 and the 360 would be doubling the Wii sales, not the other way around.

Everything has a limit, like say, how the 360 has a 500 million triangle setup limit(I think it was whereas the Ps3 is limited to 325 million.
360 can shade process 6 billion vertices per using all it's power; the Ps3 can only do 1 billion. I know the higher end games with the more complex character and geometry models will have more vertices.
All the stats of the two systems points towards the 360 being the powerhouse of the two. I think the 360, at its limit, will always be able to display more polys than the Ps3, but with it's slightly newer graphics card, the PS3 games that are lower poly - fighting games for example - should look awesome.
In a lot of ways they cancel each other out.

IF you didn't know... Xbox 360 is the SECOND console made by MS... sony is on it's third.
PS3 just phails... it's too expensive... Blu-ray will suck... Blu-ray burners costs 400$ , bluray discs cost alot... the free online service just sucks...there's not really any good games for PS3... game designers don't prefer programming in PS3's new coding language...
but PS3 has got nice features, but they don't matter to me. cardreading stuff.. and erm... bluetooth is nice for a keyboard.. but that's about it.
the new game Crysis.. it won't come for Xbox360 anymore , because the 360 can't handle the graphics in that game. the 360 has reached it's limit already, after 1 1/2 year.. the PS3 however can handle Crysis..
oh ya btw the Wii is getting sold much more then the PS3. lol.

The good games should come within the next 6 months, or it'll be all over for the PS3. Apparantly, new dev-kits are being released that will making coding for the ps3 way easier.

There's no way the 360 has reached its limit. They said that about the original Xbox after a year or so, then, near the end of its life, they brought Black, which proved in just about every way that the console hadn't reached its limit.
I remember on IGn there was this cool article about Developers measuring the potential limits of things in game- graphics, particle effects, etc. And the 360 at its best is still a far-cry from what they were coming out with.
You sure the PS3 can handle Crysis? The 360 has more power to handle a game like Crysis. It would seem weird if the 360 didn't get it and the PS3 did. Last I heard on that, neither the 360 or the PS3 could run the first tech demo at anything over 10 frames a second. But that was ages ago, they would've toned down and shaped the graphics loads since then.

If you ask me, it isnt all about these crazy numbers that make a good console. It is mostly about the game. I have liked Xbox for forever now but if they quit making good games I might start playing some PS3 stuff. No use arguing over these pointless numbers.
Just my thoughts....
