Hi, I tried to stream some media to my 360 yesterday and I was reading through the guide on xbox.com/pcsetup. I followed the instructions, but I am only able to view my pictures and music. I am unable to view movies! Does anybody know a way around this to allow me to watch movies on the 360 via my pc?

(oh and I have windows media 11 and I use a wireless usb to connect to the internet, but my pc is connected to my router via a ethernet cable. Though this shouldn't make a difference becuase my setup still allows me to recieve photos and music, but not movies)

get windows xp media center edition and set up a wireless network

guys got a problem, for some reason when i try to install windows media player 11, it says "you may have been a victim of piracy, unable to install". Anyway to get round this?

sounds like youve got a "unlegal" version of windows :P

you can use orb and that will let you stream anything to your 360 and no need to have a media centre pc. its free, just google orb and you'll find it.

to avoid this in the future, when it goes to update choose custom and make sure you do not download any update for the windows genuin validation system. But the above program will at least let you download what you want and get rid of the message.

i downloaded the windows genuine thing and edited in notepad and it thinks that it is genuine and i can do updates and everything

kkre, just convert the files to .wmv with winavivideoconverter. They're most likely not the right format.

do u need window media palyer 11 to stream. i tried but videos shows up in 360 but when itry to play it it gives me network error and tvants disconnects please help thanks

Are you using Zone Alarm? That was my problem. hope that helps.

if anyone has problem check there. i played some video on 360 but video quality is bad. is there setting to fix the resolutions. also i want to know that is there anyway that i can access my library from different computer on the same network. i installed the software on my laptop but it didnt show the file. thanks
