I'm trying to burn a few movies that have "jackets" I dont know if this is the problem or not, but I have DVD Fab Platinum and they won't read rip the files because they say it doesnt have information or something? Any way i can back movies up on DVD5?

The jackets shouldn't cause any problems.

Just pick the video_ts in DVDFab. No need to pick the jacket_folder.
Are you picking the video_ts folder?

No, whenever it tries to load an inserted DVD it says DVDFAB needs blah blah blah email information, please connect to the internet and send us the IFO files... Is there a different way to rip DVD's I have Nero and have tried many other programs but to no prevail.

make sure you have the last update for fab.. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=DVDFab_Decrypter hope this helps...

I already have that, it ripped School for Scoundrels, but won't rip Pursuit of Happyness or The Will Ferrel Fiction movie.

have you tried any other methods to rip those dvds?
namely RipIt4me

BTW, unless they are bad presses, then dvdFab should rip those dvds that you mentioned.

a couple more things
Have you defraged youe HDD lately?
DVDFab is known not to work good when HDD is heavily fragmented

have you kept up the maintenance for the PC?

How do I do that, I rented the videos, so I thought maybe the store did something, but then why would SFS work?
