Hi,

I read many tutorials about making backup games using pc DVD-Rom drive but I didn't find the way to make backup games using Xbox360 drive yet. If I connect xbox360 DVD drive (hitachi v78) with my computer(notebook), my computer will detect hitachi drive, right? Can I make backup at this time? Moreover, suppose that I have blaster360 and usb360(to convert SATA to USB), can I make backup games using only these tools?

P.S. I'm new here. If I say something silly, please forgive me.
Thank you very much

i have heard of the Blaster 360 being able to be used to back up games, but it was only through SATA. The easist way is to goto Ebay and buy either the SH-D162C (IDE) or SH-D163A (SATA) DVD-Rom drive for your PC. then if you have a dual layer burner your set. Either the drive will be pre-flashed with Kreon V0.81 or you can just flash it yourself.

It makes backing up games very, very easy. Plus will cost you a lot less then the set up your talking about, and will not put any extra stress on the already weak 360 DVD drive.
You will of course still have to flash the 360 drive to play backj ups.

Thank you very much. After reading pdf file that krj15489 suggested, I know that I can't understand it and I think I totally agree with steimy to buy SH-D162C. I think using SH-D162C is much easier and less expensive than using my method.
