A friend of mine who has gone to the middle east and got me a PSP - .. question is can I downgrade the firmware to 1.5 and then play games on it. any pointers to web sites much appreciated.

Depends on the system firmware....if it has 3.10 firmware or above then you cant downgrade.

3.03 and below you can downgrade.

Just list the firmware on your psp and myself or another afterdawner will provide a tutorial specific for downgrading that firmware.

thanks for the reply, will find out as he gets back to the UK next Saturday and will get my hands on the PSP

Also any tutorials on how to run game ISO's from the memory stick.

Until you know what firmware you are running it doesn't really matter

Well, you'll need to downgrade to be able to run ISO's from your memory stick... But you just simply place your ISO and CSO games in the ISO folder which is located on the root of your memory stick.
