it is basically a extra on board flash so you can unbrick a psp or have 2 firmwares at the same time and you can even brick it on purpose and you could still bring it back from the dead.

that's basically all i know about it try searching the undiluted platinum \
it was the last modchip to be released there should be more info on that

ok so in theory couldnt you delete the FW you have (in the case of 3.10+) and then install an older one such as 1.50? or even run 1.50 (or any other old FW) and still be running 3.11+ FW's ?

thats were OE comes in. goodness of 1.5 with 3.11 firmwares.

Ok the devoloution does not have an extra flash. its just used mainly for re riting to your original nand. please dont confuse people.

the chip was released to the sellers
so we need to wait until they get them learn how to install it nd decide on pricing nd everything.
they probably only sent out a few units 2 begin with b4 mass production so it'll probably be a while until u cn buy 1

Its around with shipping and everything 86$ which I think its a little expensive around here. But I already order it. I love this things. XD
They will be normally available from the 29th and so on of this month.

yea it ships on the 29 is when they mod-chip site expects it...but how many are they gonna get?!! i need one but i cant buy it now =( too broke but i read on qj the psp site that sales end on the 29th =/ this is confusing i just wanna see this in a store or something anyone know how much will be manufactured or something?

that's going to be a pain in the A$$ to install. good luck to you guys who buy it. ever see people try to install the undiluted? I think they have a video of it on psphacking101 dot com. very high failure rate as compared to most mod chips. i'd be interested if it were a little more plug and play.

when you buy the dev chip they send you a list of local installers too =) so you dont have to screw it up ..i know ill definately have a pro do it >.<...too bad the ta-082's arent out yet =( i gotta wait
