I flashed my 360 and at first it played all the back ups but now they starting to freeze alot. What should I do?

what kind of media are you using...I was having trouble too until I switched to verbatims and now everything is fine.

and make sure when u make a back-up burn at the speed of
x4-x6 for good quality burning

I'm using memorex. Now it freezes on originals too. Could it be the firmare? I'm using GaryOpa v2.2...

I thought the slower speed you burn the more reliable the copy can be. Why would burning it at 4x speed improve the quality (Not make the movies/ game footage skip/ freeze?)
(I?m not arguing with you but I don?t understand how the 4x speed can help?)

Also fern148; did the sound freeze as well or did the sound play as normal and the movie/game jumped and frooze? (Can not keep up with sound)

burn speed depends sometimes. on the media and burner. sometimes slower is worse than faster all depends on the setup. but as for your problem i would highly recommend flashing your hitachi with the newest firmware available. you are using garyopa 2.2 but i believe 2.3 stealth is available. the newer firmware has better media detection resulting in less read errors with peoples games. memorex is good media that is all i have used and they all work 100% perfect. even been using some backups for quite sometime now and still no problems.

That's all I use with my sammy and it works fine so far but with my hitachi I'm not sure...

i asked my neighbor to get verb but thoose futureshop/bestbuy ppl kind of forced him to get a memorex since he was looking for a smaller quantity which wasn't available in verb at that time. i checked with dvd identifier and checked on the site it was 3rd class. i took it back for him and swore at the manager and shit and got 50back verb free.

OK I flashed my 360 back to the original fw. and the originals all paly well. Flashed again with garyopa 2.3 and when I play the backups they freeze up my 360 from as soon as I turn it on. Does anyone know what's going on?
