Hi all,
these files that are required for the originals, how are they created?
Can I create them if I have the original games?

yes you can if you have a kreon flashed drive but then there not really needed seperatly as the backups are complete if using xbc ...etc

yes you can very easy if you a samsung sh-d162c dvd-rom for your pc. you can just load up schtrom or xbox backup creator and they can create the ss.bin, pfi.bin and dmi.bin for you. or you can google for the right one, but that ain't cool. always get from originals.

i mean if you have the orginal game then just get it somewherer else, because ss.bin is a pain in the ass to extract. right?

i don't think that extracting a ss file from our original disk can be considered piracy

Hi all and thanks for your replies.
Backup:- i need the ss bins for backup of my ORIGINAL games.

98soho:- thanks mate:) wil get the samsung

BurningAs:- it is also a pain in the ass to actually find the ss bins, specially PAL UK ones for my ORIGINAL games.

smlvfx:- thanks mate, that tuts will definitely help me and I have saved it just incase ;)
I also agree that if I have the original games and do not want them knackered, extracting a ss file from our original disk cannot be considered piracy as I have the ORIGINAL games.

I have now ordered the samsung and have already 'dump' my ORIGINAL games via hotswap (should have waited) waiting to make LEGAL backups of my ORIGINAL GAMES!!
