Well it is time to stop all speculation. Finally all the noobs can sit back and think of another way to annoy us. For all custom firmware fans(which includes everyone) http://www.psp-spot.com/ has posted that DAX has completed the new firmware minus him haveing a psp. no doubt this will be a long road to complete another awsome firmware.

3.30 OE-A is actually finshed and completed as of 10 hours ago. DA is just putting some finishing touches on the self flasher although a working flasher is already out but its "buggy"

Maxigen who has contact with Mathiulha has uploaded a video of the Bugy flasher but the flasher works never the less!

now we just await a official flasher from DA who will release the OE publicly!

Here is a video of the 3.30 OE in action posted by maxigen himself (admin of psp-gen.com!)

no actually im not sure i just read some were that the reason he hasnt released that flasher becase it had some technicality defficulties and maxigen used it because obviousle he has a UP.

Is there anything particularly exciting about this ?

As far as I see, with the exception of video resolution, not much has changed.

Personally don't see the point in upgrading.

try it out and tell me if it is worth the jump. also check and see if the the custom xmb icons and text will work. along side the other cool mods.
