Can I change only xbox360 DVD drive?

If one day my Hitachi drive is broken, can I change it to TS-H943 drive?

omg look on afterdawn there is a thread on switching drives with the answer it is yes if ur drive isn't bricked. if i just stopped reading disks or burns up u can still replace it. if u can get access to it flash since u killed it during modding ur screud.
