quick question about backing up games.

If I only have the .iso, how can I back up my games with out the .dvd

It's simple when the .dvd is there if it isnt I am lost and just delete it

The DVD file is just a text file that tells the burner what to do, it is not the actual game, the ISO file is.

So you just get IMGburn V2.1, manually set the layer break, then burn the ISO

to set layer break.
tools-->settings-->write-->layer break. Check user specified

and set it to 1913760. Click ok and burn as normal. This is

only necessary the first time burning a 360 game

.DVD .000 are all the same thing. there are a couple of other terms for it, but i cant remember them off the top of my head.

if it is a .000 file it can easily be renamed to a .ISO file. The only thing you need to make sure of is that you foilder settings do not have a box checked called "hide extensions of known file types"
if this box is checked then you can not properly rename just the extension like you need to.

People who stealth patch games and use certain programs rename the .ISO file to .000 so the patching program will recognize it. They just never change it back like they should when they are done.

and for the record, a .DVD file and a .ISO or .000 are not the same thing. A .DVD file is only a text file. The other two are image files.
