Someone from a certain private torrent site said they was posting my tutorial somewhere. So i decided to check the thread out.

I don't want people thinking i figured it out. I just wrote how to do it in the hope it would help people.

Just spreading the love, just read on max that 3.40 firmware is planned for release by S0ny. I don't think they like Dark Alex too much. :)

If you are using a custom 01-12.bmp it will happen. Are you using a custom one?

If you are then reduce the size as this causes problems with the icons.

yh i know but he ownt make a OE. he ant got a psp first of all, and second when the released 3.11 he didn make a OE becuase all it had was a better pops emu so he just added it in the pops plugin!!

Mind you, i wanna see some more ram freed up in the OE versions like he said :P

Yes have been using a custom one mate, is there a specfic size or just any size under 480x272?

Try reducing it in 10's or something.

470x266

460x260

450x254 etc.

Until it works.

Or try using a standard one and just have a wallpaper...although you will be missing the wave.

all of my backgrounds that ive tried are 461x268 but 460x260 should be fine.

I dont think its actually to do with the dimensions i think its to do with the final file size, and how much memory the wallpaper takes up

And Dark Alex did say there would be problems because of flash space on this firmware.

Least there are ways to make it work though.

can someone help me??

i customized my psp n had some problems with it. when i replace the 01-12 file, n i go to my psp screen it appears only white.i've tried several times with other 01-12 files..the thing that only i saw is the topmenu,batery icon,n volume icon(all of this is customized too)...where is the wave n the background goes??


n i also put the font file n it does not make any difference though.

one more thing, i tried changing the 01-12 files to some bigger size, n it says full disc space..what should i do to fit the file??
