okay, ive seen a lot of people asking the same question that i had not too long ago...how do i get a decrypted 2.50 topmenu w/o it already being customized (cause of a theme pack or app)

i know how important it is to have something stock to fully customize it the way you want...

so....here is a quick tutorial on how to dump a 2.50 PSAR to get your very own decrypted topmenu...

okay first...

you will need a 2.50 update eboot:

the latest psar dumper release:
http://pspupdates.qj.net/PSAR-Dumper-v0-2B-Released/pg/49/aid/30616

pbp-unpacker:
http://dl.qj.net/PBP-Unpacker-v0.94-PSP-Tools-Utilities-(on-PC)/pg/12/fid/8808/catid/192

& one of these joints:

sorry if its considered graphic admins...but, this is how everybody thinks of their psp!!!

o k...

once you have pbp unpacker installed, open the 2.50 eboot:

now take your extracted psar and place it at the root of your memory stick (ms0:/)

then run psar dumper and pres SQUARE...

after you run psar dumper, you will find a f0 folder at the root of your ms0...this will be the flash0 folder structure for 2.50 firmware...the topmenu is decrypted...and i believe customizable for 3.03 OE-C; & 3.30 OE-A....

as far as i know, it goes all the way up to 3.03....after that you will need the new decrypters..
