Great forum, has been very helpful, but would like to know which image is best for the chorus area in Cork city,saw conflicting reports between commando and Sporster and also which version to use,will the service files be a problem to get? anyone who has this working I would appreciate any help.

What box did you get, sagem or nokia?
I have Irish images with chorus on them. Sporster 1.7 is stable for me but commando 7.5 is pretty stable now too.

I bought a nokia dbox2, could really do with the service files and bouquets if you have them, would you reccomend commando 7.5 for chorus in cork.

commando 8 is out now,seems good,but dont know if either work with chorus.if its not mmds either should work

Hello everyone, I have a dbox 2 but only got commando 4 on it. Now all the channels have gone. I tried a scan and now its really messed up my channels. I have tried to reflash but now it wont (mediasensing error on vista)Can any one help me please? I live in the North west if that helps. Any advice will be much appreciated. Cheers.

I got sagem 1x with commando 8.1 and irish7.xml I get some fta and some encrypted. Can't get any channels here in Cork city with any other images. Will be getting starview box soon any info on these??

I bet you will get absolute nothing from a starview box at chorus cable.

You shouldn't mix it up with NTL mmds or NTL cable.

The frequencies must be entered manually to do a search, but yes it works fine.
