3.30 OE Internet problem

Ok so here's my story. i have a wifi max .
on my pc the ip of the wireless connection(wifimax) is 192.168.0.5
on my psp the ip is 192.168.0.10
the default router + primary dns are both 192.168.0.5
this worked on 3.03 OE-C until i got the 3.30 OE-A. on the 3.30 it doesnt work. anyone experienced any problems with 3.30 OE ? why wouldnt my net work on this new firmware ? thanks in advance.

Your ip gives out ALOT of info to the some people.

Lol @touran :P Hes given out a private IP adress, not a public one. Hes perefectly safe.

Theres been no change to how it handles wfif, so its most likely your settings have changed

Obvious question but sometimes required... Have you rebooted your router? Sometimes I find my netgear gets frozen and doesn't allow anything to connect to it, and maybe try force the psp to change the IP it uses to connect

Urmmm do people genuinley think thats his PUBLIC IP address :S

A public IP is along the lines of 87.132.13.53, easily trace and hackable.

A private IP is always 192.168.0.X, if you try to connect to it, you will most likley end up connecting to your own PC.

lol , i guess i asked on the wrong forum
so to all noobs :that's private ip address, no-one can do shit to me with that. seems like arc is the only wise person around , so i have to thank him for his response.
touran try a whois on those ip addresses or any ip from the range
192.168.x.y . or like 10.0.0.x
x,y from 0 to 254.

you guys are noobs , i would never give my ip in public but , now i know i can write it here, because i see you know nothing about things so you cant even see if i'm from anctartica, europe, US,Asia or Africa if i give you my ip address, and dont worry guys, i can protect myself from hackers like you.

Metalgeat, for my sake i will let public ip's here , i dont think it's against the rules dude. and PLEASE MetalGeat PLEASE dont HACK MY PC !

i've already tried to establish a new IP , and i've always configured manually. damn i cant figure out what the problem is :(
