I'm trying to backup my EA Uefa Champions League 06/07. I heard you had to rebuild majority of the EA games so I went ahead following this guide:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/127255

However, when I rebuild it and burn it to a DVD and use swap magic to load up my backup it says "Not a valid ps2 disc"? I'm burning it on a Dysan DVD-R (which I'm sure is good media because I've backed up plenty of games on them before and they all work)

What am I doing wrong? Was I not supposed to rebuild it at all?

try rebuilding it with Gnie Expert. It is a program designed to rebuild ISO files for you.
EA Games just tend to give a lot of Swap Magic users problems.

Hey Steimy any idea why Swap Magic has trouble? I use CogSwap on mem card and only have had to rebuild DVD9 games.(I know old school but it is what I started with and see no need to change) As long as my TOC disk is big enough my backup runs. With the exception of a few that need zoneloader also.

No, it is just the way Swap Magic has always been, problem games either need to be rebuilt, or you use special loading programs to load them like Cogswap or Zoneloader (in the old days DVDloader), or doing TOC refreshes. Personally it is all just too much of a headache to deal with. I used it back in the olden days, LOL (V2.0 and V3.0) but as soon as i had enough money i switched to a quality modchip.

Now i need none of the above. I stick in a back up and it plays. Simple as that. No rebuilding, DVD9 backup support, can use cheat discs with back ups just like originals, hard drive support built in, cheat device built in, ELF homebrew loader built in, auto force mode to put all PAL games i play into NTSC format without screen cut off, and the list goes on.
