You have your Nero serial number in your post which you should remove. It's the long number at the top of the error log that starts with 1A20..

Looks like you are using a buggy Nero version:
Quote: Nero API version: 6.3.1.20
Using interface version: 6.3.1.4
Get the most stable and bug-free version download both packages:
Package 1: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe
Package 2: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
These are safe, no Yahoo toolbar, versions that I use.
I don't see much else.
I don't see any media ID info in the log. Make sure you are using good media. I recommend Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
It looks like you didn't post the complete error log.
You should think about replacing your Samsung CD-ROM drive with a DVD-ROM at some point. It makes the process a whole lot easier, faster and saves wear on your burner. DVD-ROMs are cheap. Another stick of RAM would be a good investment as well. Take it up to 512 MB from:
Quote: Physical memory : 254MB (260096kB)
Free physical memory: 71MB (72972kB)
Memory in use : 71 %
Try the recommended Nero version with good media and see how it works.

also make sure you are running the latest firmware update for that drive

your dvdrw drive is a little outdated (still a good drive though) and no longer gets f/w updates. BSOY is the latest f/w. what I would do and what I did to my 1633 when I was using it was flash it with some patched 1653 f/w (later model) to make it compatable with more media.
here's a link to some patched f/w. you will need to use one of these:
CS0T - patched - crossflashing - fast burn FBD/FBDX (for 1633S, 1653S etc.)
? CS0T - patched - crossflashing, multi-colored LED (for 1213S, 1613S, 1633S, etc.)

Mort81 makes a good point. CMC is the manufacturer that made a name for Memorex... "Memosux". I'm still seeing bad things happen more often with that manufacturer's media. Sony +R, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, and most name brands with made in Japan on the label do good. Add some of the known good stuff to your stock and see if a change of media makes a difference. I've seen a change of media get things straightened out many times.
