Verbatim are pretty expensive ($2 - 3 per disc), I can get some other discs at $1 per disc.

Is Verbatim that good that I should just get them and not bother with anything else?

i have 2 flashed 360's one with a haitacji 47 drive and one with a samsung m25.(extreme 5.2b) now both drives work fine with verbs (in the uk £20 for 5 discs) put i bought a pack of philips discs (£14 for ten discs)and they work fine in the samsung but only one or two of them work in the hitachi drive. so it all depends on the drive and the firmware you are using.

if you can then stick with the verbs cause they are just that damn good m8.

all the best

Officemax has the 10pk of Verbatims for $15. The price is online but you can print the page and have them price match it. I've done the same thing at Best Buy too.
