Hi,
Been searching for an answer for this everywhere and had not much luck.
The only bit of semi-reliable information I've found is that 1.5 firmware will not take 4gb mem sticks, is this true?

Now, my main question is this, my PSP currently has 3.10 OE-A firmware on it and I don't know what its original firmware was as I bought it 2nd-hand.
If its original firmware was 1.5 does this mean I still can't use 4gb mem sticks (and thus not worth risking buying a 4gb stick) or does the custom firmware (3.10 OE-A) allow the use of these larger size mem sticks regardless of what the orig firmware used to be?

there is a guide somewhere that tells u how to cut a wire thats on the motherboard that is the only thing that prevents usage of higher sized ms's so good luck finding it
