i was on another website (psp-hacks) and they said that there was a 3.40 oe-a and u could download it there and i didnt know if they were telling the truth cuz 3.30 oe-a just came out is it true?

3.40oe-a and 3.30oe-a' are virtually the same thing extra's wise just one has the benifits of 3.40 and one doesn't

Is there any UMD region free yet? Or does it work? I have a region 3 psp and i wanna play region 1 movies or U.S version. Also which is a good firmware to have if i like to have custom icons

I don't know what's the region thing you're talking about but i know you can change regions in the recovery mode. About custom icons, i think any OE firmwares are fine as long as you know what to do.
