use the ethernet cord that came with the xbox. then get a one year membership. the one year will save ou money. then plug the ethernat cord into your router

but my router is in a different room.
and I dont have money for the wireless adapter.

you can get from 25 to 100 foot ethernet cord from newegg for less than $10.

So all I have to do is hook the cord in my xbox 360
and my computer then I can perchus xbox live.

You must go through a process to bridge your connection. Does your computer have 1 or 2 ethernet ports? Does your computer's wireless adapter connect with an ethernet cord or a usb cord?

I am asking if your computer has two ethernet ports and I am asking how does your computer connect to it's wireless adapter, through usb or through ethernet cord.

my xbox has one ethernet port,and the wireless adapter hooks in to my computer by USB,and there are no ethernet ports for the adapter.
