I have the option of purchasing one of these. Can someone let me know what the difference is? Is it possible to flash it to a Euro version orrr what?

Cheers,
Nic

My best advice would be to stick to what you know, to avoid problems

Yes you can change the language in the PSP system settings. Any PSP can do it. The only difference between a Hong Kong PSP and any other PSP is, it can only play UMD movies from the region it was made for. So if you bought one from Hong Kong, you could only play UMD Movies from the Asia regions. But everything else will function the same, and you can change the language & play any game.

But i think you can bypass the UMD movie protection with custom firmware. Not sure though.

actually there a big difference with the Asian PSP because the Asian
PSP have Sharp TFT screen superior to the one of the Europe and American
Samsung TFT screens.

The thread you reference proves nothing other than some people claim they are better, which they aren't. Those pictures are known to have nothing to do with PSP's.

As I said I have one, so I should know.

Changing the buttons involves removing the faceplate, which voids your warranty

you don't need to change the buttons, you just need to apply the patch which swaps the function of the X and O buttons.
