Games will not load softmod file??

I follow the various tutorials with every word, but I am still not able to get the softmod to boot up.

I have Mechassault which came with my XBox live and I bought a platnum hits version of 007: AUF, but both games give me the same problem.

Both games claim they cannot load my save.

I was wondering if there was something I had missed possibly? I am using the SID 4.0 because I do not know how to use Slayer or where to find any other good soft mods.

If anyone can suggest something I would appreciate it.

the platinum hits versions of the games wont work you will have to use a different game

He doesnt say his Mechassault is Platinum hits, so it should work.
