Is there any way to play the metal gear solid portable ops iso I have without installing unofficial firmware? wasted 10hrs searching lol... ty for any help.

Why would you want to ?

Just upgrade to custom firmware and save yourself lots of hassle.

what firmware do you have currently? if you have anything above 3.03, you're out of luck. however, if you have 3.03 or below, you can downgrade to 1.5. Here is the downgrader for 3.03. the readme that it comes with has all the instructions so you should be set. once you've done that come back and i'll give you instructions on how to install 3.40 oe-a (custom firmware)
