If you can get to recovery menu then just recover back to 1.5 and then upgrade to custom fw again. If you can't get to recovery menu then you're out of luck. A mod chip or a new mobo is the way forward.

Again a quick search would have answered this question.

Try hitting the Display button next to the Note button on the psp...

Not in Recovery mode, when you are on the psp's menu...

Sweet thanks. !1 question though. on the recovery menu there is an option to run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP. What is this because I definitely don't have a recovery folder. Am i supposed to? Oh yeah I have 3.03oe-c if that matters running 3.03 kernel

now you make me feel bad... i was trying to tell you before you posted...

i need pictures...

for some reason i can figure out the problem if i can see what you are seeing...

i need to see a pic when you turn on the psp regularly, and a pic when you turn it on in recovery mode.

then i need a pic when you exit out of recovery mode and pic when you press the button with the circle (display button) next to the note button when you are out of recovery mode...

oh my god!! I can not believe that no one has told him this yet. all you have to do is find yourself a recovery folder, it comes with the 3.02 oe-a download. and you toggle usb(in recovery mode) and place the RECOVERY folder inside PSP/GAME, then you have to download the 1.50 EBOOT.PBP, rename it to UPDATE.PBP and place that inside PSP/GAME/RECOVERY. Then, and then only do you go in to recovery mode and select the option "autorun at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" and you are back at 1.5

if you are not a TOTAL noob you will be able to follow them simple instructions :) happy to help
