xbox for multitrack recording ?

i was just wondering if there was a way to soft mod your xbox and turn it into a stand alone portable home multitrack studio.it would be cool if i could record my band with it.

no, not at all, that kind of software would be an extreme hog on the xbox.

Use comp or something

At best the xbox could record 2 audio channels, but there aren't any apps out there for this sort of thing. Your best bet would be a PC running recording software, such as audacity. It's free and works great.
