Can I upgrade to 3.40 OE-A?

My PSP's firmware is 3.30 right now and I also have the 3.40 download on my PSP, but I did not upgrade to it yet. So can I upgrade to 3.40 OE-A from 3.30, or should I just upgrade to 3.40?

You can't upgrade to a DAX Custom Firmware from an official Sony Firmware. Also, don't upgrade to 3.40 if you ever intend to use homebrew.

Right. Either wait out the 3.30 downgrader or trade your PSP in. I've been stuck at 3.11 for ever now. Maybe you'll get lucky and 3.30 downgrader will come out beforehand.

I think I made a bad choice of upgrading to 3.30 the same day I got my psp!
