Hi guys,
I'm trying to find a working version of Boot Magic 3.6 that I can burn onto a disc (iso preferrably) so I can test some back up of some games I bought for my ps2.
Is there a working version known? If so, is there a link.
Second, I use DVD Decrypter to burn my DVD's -- is there any known incompatibilities regarding burning Boot Magic 3.6 that I need to be aware of?
Thanks!
Jeff

You cant burn swap magic if you could then you could just put any backup in the ps2 and it would read it.

Swap Magic discs cannot be backed up as they are pressed using the same copy protection used in Playstation 2 game discs.

Yeah, what they said (minus the dipstick). Basically you gotta buy Swap Magic just like any other original game. Thats pretty much the reason why it works in an unmodded PS2, its original.

Well technically some ISOs are actually legit. It's for those who have those really old SM disc versions and want to use the newer version like the 3.8 SM coder for cheats or to load the newer games easier compared to using zoneloader, cdloader and etc... But of course, you would need a method to boot these ISOs either way. Another SM version i.e. using 3.6 to load the 3.8 coder, codebreaker (I think) and action replay perhaps?

Although you can do that, its a bit of a hassle to boot one cd to boot another cd to boot a game, dont ya think?
