Can someone tell me how long the warranty lasts that Sony gives you? I was considering putting on a custom face plate and if my warranty is up im just going to go ahead with it.

It actualy depends on the store you bought it from, but usually it just one year. so if its old enough...mod away!!!

you can change the faceplate without voiding the warranty. just gently push the sticker off the screw with a small flat head. dont pick it or lift it. then when done just push it back into place.

Thanks. Ill try and do this and if i mess up on it then it wont really matter that much because i've had it for moar then a year

Assuming its an OEM faceplate. If you try to return it with a clear lime green faceplate they might know. =P
