Correct RipIt4Me does Deja Vu. Now with Night at the Museum, this one can be backed up with DVD_Decrypter or Shrink.

I have tried using shrink with deja vu and it won't let me compress it far enough to get rid of the red bar. I've tried to reauthor and it indicates the main movie is title 18. I tried using clone dvd2 and it tells me that it is trying to repair the dvd structure. I had a friend try it on their computer with both shrink and clone and they had no problem. Does anyone know why it works for some but not for others?

It depends on properly using the software. Shrink has a problem with decryption. So, it is best to decrypt with RI4M, DVDFab Decrypter, or another leading method. When cleaned and compliant files are opened in DVD Shrink it has no problems transcoding. As far as the red bar with Deja Vu, that is a simple fix. The DVD comes with foreign language audio and subtitles. Uncheck those and the red bar vanishes to full green. If CloneDVD 2 is trying to correct structure, that simply means what you're trying to process isn't compliant. With CloneDVD 2 use the latest AnyDVD or if ripping with DVDFab Decrypter you need to process the files with FixVTS. RI4M does it all from the 1-Click mode.

I had already unchecked the forgein language boxes and it still showed a red bar. I tried using Fab decryptor and was able to get the files, however it has the directors comments intermixed and its just a mess, same as when I used Shrink, and I had already unchecked all of the directors boxes, so it still put them there. I'll try the RI4M to see if that helps at all

Try using VobBlanker or PgcEdit to blank the second movie.

I get an I/O error when I try to rip the movie with decrypter so I am unable to proceed to voblanker. I recently had a computer crash and had to start the computer from scratch as well as reinstall all of these programs. I think something is misssing because I have never had this much trouble before. Thought it might have been a patin couffin, but that doesn't seem to help either.

Don't use DVDFab Decrypter. It's no longer updated. Use DVDFab HD Decrypter. You will need to rip the whole disc. You will see 2 movies on the disc. The main movie is the smaller one.

Thanks for the help. I think I have finally been successful in ripping it with Fab Decrypter, (not the HD either), by taking the smaller file that doesn't seem to include the directors junk. I've never actually used the program before, so now I have the files and its about 4.4 gig, but I'm not sure how to write it. Do I use a different program to write it, or better yet is there a fab guide somewhere? Thanks again

I ripped it with RI4M. When the files opened in DVD Shrink the red bar appeared. Unclicked foreign language offerings and the bar turned green. I guess success depended on the decryption process. I was able to continue without problems.

To burn the output just use any software that supports your output. Did you end up with an ISO Image or Video_TS folder? ImgBurn and Nero can handle both. 4.37GB is about the max for a DVD5. Hopefully when you said about 4.4 you were rounding up.

I was actually able to use shrink to open the files from the Fab decrypter rip and it automatically shrank it from the 4.4 gig to what I needed to burn it. I then burned it with DVD Decrypter. I tried to get the ripit4me, but according to the posts, the site has been shut down and I wasn't able to find it. Thanks for your help, though
