sorry7 for double but iam up to 3.03 now and i have the gta lcs 2.0fw on it, i would like to use iso's and apps and such but u say that cant been down with the firmware on this froum... then whats this new firmware do then?

this is basically a version which has 3.40 features and play 3.40 games but also homebrew and lots of isos

NOW a proud owner of a 1.50 t82 hahah, now dling this installer, ok will run thur this and pray also i need some goodies like now ive waited to damn long and thought this was harder then what it would have been but its not HAVE faith ppls or what ever u would like to call it, need stuff goodies need to see what this baby can do

2 thumbs up way up iam now onboard and now its 4:32 am still have 4-5 pages to do for final for class on satday, and now i need to load up psp with stuff but dont know what or where to begin

I think its probably the transformers iso, because my ISO works perfectly.
Also I wondered if anyone could help me, I have a GTA:VCS UMD which I played OK once at 333 CPU speed, but thereafter it lags, whilst driving in vechiles? Anyone know how to overcome this problem?????????????????????
It used to lag before when i ran it through devhook, I expexted the problem to go away with 3.40 OE-A, but only got lucky once. It only worked lag free the first time i tried it.
Aslo with another UMD : FIFA 2006 i cant play it because the X,o,Square,triangle keys freeze/dont work, the directional ones do work!!!
HOW DO I RETURN TO 1.5 SO THAT I CAN INSTALL 3.40 OE-A AGAIN? WHAT EXACTLY DO I DO IN RECOVERY MODE?

get the 1.5 recovery winstaller and follow its instructions. hope that solves your problems

not really, it can be used if you just want to go back to 1.5
just use the winstaller to put in the necessary file then enter recovery mode and choose "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP". Then follow the instructions. You'll be back to 1.5 just like that.

hey guys i bricked my psp. all i did was replace the files UMD9660, UMDMAN, and THREADMAN cuz my UMD games wouldnt work. when i turn on my psp all i see is a dark screen then the psp shuts off (after about 30 seconds) i got 3.52 M33-2. Plzz help

wondering if you HAVE to have no umd disabled in order to play isos in recovery mode config.
as for the post above me, can you access recovery mode? if not sounds like a brick. what was wrong with the umds?

nah i cant access recovery modde :( the umds werent loading. during gameplay they would stop spinning and i would have to reboot my psp to un freeze it

i managed to run the recovery winstaller and get my psp back to 1.5 then installed 3.4 OE-A again. my psp didnt automatically boot to XMB after installing 3.40 OE-A it said to manually shut down.

OMG my psp is messed up, i re-installed 3.04 OE-A thought it was working fine, but when i went to system information a blue screen came up with some writing saying setting iformation was corrupted then the psp switched off, when i started it again it was frozen on a xmb menu with no writing just the wallpaper..
iv returned to 1,5 now..it seems ok. but not going to risk installing 3.40 again! anybody know an alternative, ive heard alot about m33 would anyone recommend anything? any links?

try 3.40 oe-a again....i really do reccomend that firmware. M33 is still buggy....u cant use a battery icon, and ...like i said some bugs still gotta be worked out.

Well ive tried it again at first the same things happened the blue screen CAme up WHEN I selected system settings, i pressed O the psp went off, when i switched it back on it froze on the empty xmb screeN. then i switched it off, and on again, tried system settings AND was able to get into it this time, so reformated MS and MADE settings to default.
It semms OK at the moment.
A problem i have on the psps when installing 3.40 OE-A is, when i go to MS and then select the 3.04 update the psp logo comes up and then the screen with the writing flashes but then disappears and returns to XMB, for this reason i continously press X until the red writing stays and the update is completed, then the writing says press X to shutdown.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY I MIGHT BE HAVING THIS PROBLEM???

unsrcew the screws. take off the face plate. take out the r button. clean it. put it back in. put the face plate back on and screw the screws back in. done :)

I was on 3.03 oe-c earlier, updated to 3.40 oe-c with the following recovery settings
PSP RECOVERY SETTINGS
\CONFIG
Skip SCE Logo = ENABLED (Optional)
Hide Corrupt Icons = ENABLED
Game Folder Homebrew = 1.50 KERNAL
Autorun Program At /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP = DISABLED
Use NO-UMD = : ENABLED (If Game Wont Work Then Disable)
: DISABLED (If You Have A UMD In The Drive)
Fake Region = DISABLED
Free UMD Region = ENABLED
\ADVANCED
Plain Modules in UMD/ISO = ENABLED
Execute BOOT.BIN In UMD/ISO = DISABLED
Use ISOFS Driver Also In UMD-Inserted Mode = DISABLED
i wasnt able to play rachet game wid these settings, i switched back to 3.03 oe-c with the same above settings, now i am able to play rachet, but my tekken 3 and metal gear solid doesn't work, also i am not able to get into recovery on holding down R.
please advise..thanks!

okay, i am able to go to recovery, can someone tell me the exact recovery settings which would allow me to play the iso's like i used to do earlier.
