How large is the output file from Shrink and what brand of DVD are you using? To tell us even more, you could use the free DVD Identifier (downloadable from CDFreaks) to run a scan of your recordable DVD to tell us the manufacturer code. It's a small program and all it does is ID DVD media.
You can also get the Dvd media ID code from Imgburn after you insert a blank dvd. It will be located on the right hand side of the main window after opening Imgburn under the "Pre-recorded information Manufacturer ID" section.

Thanks for the tip on returning "defective" media (Charlotte's Web). I exchanged it and immediately tried to burn it again first. No problems at all. I used DVDFab, burned whole disc, then Shrink and finally ImgBurn. Don't you hate it when you try troubleshooting everything and it turns out the problem is totally unrelated.:)

LOL...yep, it's usually the last thing you would think the problem could be. A fatal error is stating that "it couldn't be this or that".
