I've tried searching the forum for help but couldn't find anything so sorry if this has been asked before.

I have a "ahem" backup of Forza Motorsport 1 from the original Xbox, I got it to play on my Xbox 360 using Samsung MS28 Drive flashed with Xtreme Firmware 5.2D. But I get some dirty disc error message after a 10 minutes or so play between loading levels, I've read this can be fixed by going to the xbox live function within Forza and downloading an update, but my xbox then comes up with an error. Never had any trouble with 360 backups on xbox live.

Is it because I'm not using an original disc??

no its because you need a clean disc....or try to clean your xbox

The disc was a brand new out the pack DVD+R, and i've checked loads of forums and it's a common fault with forza 1, even with the original disc, just need to get on xbox live to do the update but it won't let me and i think it's because I have a copy
