Scenario:

Running 3.03 OE-C, NO PROBLEMS.
I decided to upgrade to 3.40 OE-A, and wow do I regret it.

None of my ISO's will boot, they all lock up right after the 'PSP' flash. So I just assumed that I had a bad install, so I reinstalled the firmware. Still having the same problems...

So from here, I reinstalled 3.03 OE-C. Still shitting itself for loading ISOs.

Mind you, homebrew apps run just fine.

So I downgraded from OE-C to 1.50, and then back up to 3.03 OE-C.

Still giving me problems. I have no idea what's going on.

The ISOs are in /ISO, I have a UMD in, and I have No UMD disabled.

I don't know what's going on, but I am beyond frustrated.

did you format your memory stick after you done all of this. sometimes that might fix it. also try diableing no-umd.

Ok, so what the hell.

I formatted the stick, and it created a bunch of folders, like MP_ROOT, and GAME150 and GAME303, which is good.

But ISOs are still dying right after loading.

I should have the autorun program at /psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp disabled, right?

I don't get it, I'm very confused.

Another thing is if you're using a custom wavy lines effect (Azura) then that will screw some things up as well as the cold boot screen. Also, if you have the screenshot mod activated, that will screw some stuff up. It could be any number of things, really. When I had 3.03 OE-C, I would fix something and another thing would go wrong. It's very finnicky, to say the least.
