We need just a little more info than that. What are you using to rip the disc etc etc. Post any/all errors you are getting, along with type of media used. The more info the better.

I have used dvdfab, shrink,clone, 1 click dvd, nothing seems to open the dvd.

If you are having problems using DVDFab HD Decrypter, then you have a bad disc or drive. Try cleaning your laser lens. Regular DVDFab Decrypter is no more. Now it's DVDFab HD Decrypter. It's just been updated again. Make sure you have version 3.1.0.8.

If you have 1click dvdcopy, try using it with AnyDVD, it's the best combo there is (IMHO), make sure you've got the latest version of both.

1click dvd copy version 5.2.0.9

If the backup process still fails, as stated by dialysis1
"then you have a bad disc", try cleaning it and retry, if it's still a no-go, return it and exchange it for another.
