in a psp update the data.psp is the executable and data.psar contains
the firmware you could trying hexing

just Google an Hex editor and you find a program when you got a hex editor open say data.psp. it will come as double dutch literly put if you look closely scanning threw the data.psp and you fing small texts that you can edit

thats not C++ thats binary and there lots of small text see if there a find option and type in 303 or the name of the firmware psar you are opening and change it
