Magic keys for Commando 8?

Hi all, Hope someone can help!

I had a great Dbox working fine when I decided to upgrade the image! To cut a long story short I mucked the box up and it would not even boot. So after several month of having no TV I found a mate of a mate who said he could sort it, and the box came back, and booted up, with a nice new Commando 8 image on it. Happy days (not).

I now realise the Commando 8 image does not have the keys so I have come here as I have all the channels but most are locked.

Can anyone send me the magic keys and let me know which folder to FTP them to on the Dbox?

Any help is very much appreciated.

First of all thanks for your reply, but it still dont work!

Perhaps im dooing something wrong?

I downloaded then extracted the file you linked to onto my desktop.

I then FTP'ed all the files into VAR/KEYS

Then I changed the attributes of the files to 755

I then rebooted the box but I still only have FTA channels!
What am I doing wrong?

go to dbox then settings, then press the yellow button. this brings you to the sodftcam menu. change the softcam to newcam. then press red and to restart the cam and restart the dbox.


this shold work.

newcam is proving more stable than mgcam for me, at ucode 001A ntldublin

can you email me or send melink for the keys plz. i have decided to check commando 8 out too.

ps: i cnt seem to FTP into dbox the username: root and password: dbox or dbox2 dont seem to work.
