@evelienn

All the sites I have read says the pioneer DVR- 107D doesn't support bitsetting(booktyping)

So you will not be able to booktype the media with your current DVD burner.

@pre9jm

Go to the link I provided above and make sure you have the most current WinRAR program version available.

Plus make sure your Hard Drive has the space needed to extract the 4.7GB ISO file.

All you need to do is choose 1 of the RAR files in the list and choose to extract it. It will extract the other parts automatically. So as I said only choose 1 of the RAR files to extract the ISO from the rest.

I suspect English is not your first language...

First of all, what media are you using?

no its not.
i use a pioneer 111D and a LG (does the recorder&firmware matter?)
------------------EDIT------------------
i just wrote scarface. with my LG, on a -R DVD (creation) with imgburn. all worked fine. 1.unziped good 2.copyed without errors.
again when i am on the Wii menu it shows me that i have inserted the Scarface game. i choose start. it loads after some company videos it shows me this message
The Game Disc could not be read. Please read the Wii operation manual for more information.
if someone knows what i do wrong is wellcome to show me :)
p.s. my opinion is that the Wiikey don't work good. But 4 games that i got when i chiped the cosole works fine....

Put in a Blank DVD and use ImgBurn or Nero to burn the ISO to disc. That is all you have to do.

goto mode choose WRITE
then where it says source - click on the icon and browse to the iso u have on your hard drive.
put your blank dvd in drive and click on the burn icon at the bottom

thats it

u do not ever mount the image as it is of no use
what if the file is on your desktop, but doesn't show up when you browse for file?

if u can see the file on your desktop and you have .iso associated with imgburn, dbl click the image and it opens up imageburn ready to burn

if it fails this far in its usually down to a buffer under run

burn image slower and dont be opening programs or downloading whilst it burns
close down any unnecessary programs running

You will have to open up your Wii to find out what chip it is. Burn the .iso with ImgBurn at 4X speed using high quality media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

The chip does not matter as long as it works. If you want to update it then that's a whole different story.

They are a brand of DVDs.

Hi larrylje, Thinone and Dalman
I read you guys' posts with interest because I am having the same problem as Dalman. This is my first time trying buring wii iso and I'm burning it with Roxio Creator DE Version: 9.0.116 because it's preintalled on my Dell PC. I am having the same problem as Dalman: it keeps telling me "Please insert a blank or rewritable CD...supported media: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-r, DVD-RW..." The wii iso file size is 4.37gb ( 4,699,979,776 bytes) and the DVD-RW is 4,488.0MB free (btw, why is it not 4.7gb free since that's what it says on the disk?) I tried to select the DVD option as larrylje said but I don't know how to do this with Roxio. Do you (or you guys) know how to fix this? Thanks.
