sister just got new vista machine,won't play dvd's,what should she look for and where for downloads??

well it's a new pc already loaded with vista,and she has'nt much of a clue on pc's.whats the solution??????????/

Well, if this is what i think it is (DRM issue), then there is no solution, except for moving to XP.

im a bit lost here,she bought it in a supermarket in glasgow but it's telling her to go to roxio and download software for it??
can she not get free downloads? anyone else have this problem?

Check to see if the DVD software she's using, is fully compatible with Vista. So yeah....you'd find that out from the software vendor's site.
