Hi Pauly,

Try RTE2, that's a freeview channel and should be unscrambled.
If thats not on it's probably something to do with the cable in your area being down or being worked on.

Do the following.

START
Right Click "MY COMPUTER"
Choose "MANAGE"
In the resulting window, click on "DEVICE MANAGER"
In the right hand pane, click on the little plus sign beside "PORTS" in the right hand pane.
Right click on the USB Adapter (Should be something like "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM#)
Choose "Properties"
Click on "PORT SETTINGS" TAB
Click on "ADVANCED"
Then you will see the COM Port Number Box. You should be able to change it there using the drop down box.
Try to set it to COM2
Restart Windows

Set STBLink to COM2 & try to connect.

If that fails try another port number.

i doubt its because theyre gonna switch signals, its a bigger box than the last one as it has a hard drive built into it for recording tv like s*y+ and it has u-pc wrote on it rather than n*l, anyway if anybody knows the codes and pin numbers for opening up the menu's on these things it'll be greatly appreciated....

I wonder if we should apply any significance to the fact that ch0rus and n*l are now known as U*C?

Maybe if someone knows they might let me know? :)

Hi DM,

There's no new update for your box at the moment.

We only recently got new software for the Replay Lite and this won't work with the PVR.

Hopefully the software writers will have something new for you soon.

Keep checking back here, becase as it comes available it will be posted here.

Sorry not to be able to help you any more than that at the moment.

Hey all...
Dunno if it's just me but since upgrading my Replay Lite firmware to 9.06 beta, every evening at about 6pm I get the 'NA:Scrambled' message on screen and I can't view any channels apart from RTE2, TV3 & Setanta Sports. This normally stays this way for about an hour and then I can view all the channels again. I've tried putting the firmware on the box again a number of times but it's the same all the time. I've also tried downgrading the firmware back to 7.52 or even 7.44 (to see if it's actually the software causing this scrambled problem) but it seems after the upgrade to 9.06, it's not possible to do this (downgrade) anymore. I get the message 'incorrect BIN file' when I know there's nothing wrong with the BIN files. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi CBX2000, can't say I've noticed it but I've the updated software on the box and have had no issues with it since . I've heard that nthell are dicking around with the codes and signals so that may be what's causing it. Also check your connections as the usual cause of NA Scrambled is a bad signal/connection. I'm open to correction here but I've had that msg before on the box in my kitchen and found that the cable was out of the main signal box in the living room. Once I reconnected it, the channels came right back.
Hope it's been helpful.

Cheers,

HI there, in d16 running a replay lite on nthell, usually get the codes off here, but it's gone down and I can't find any.

Anyone got the new nthell codes. Thanks, in advance.
