Thanks for the info Novice99. Did this on 2 boxes with the beta s/w on and it worked a treat. Tried talking my brother through it with 7.52 on it but he can't get it to exit back out of the menu. I can get him in and out of the nagra settings page. I've checked the codes and he's entered them correctly but he still can't exit out of the menu. Any ideas anyone ???

I thought they sent a virus, but they didn't. The reason the Replay is slow is because it is busy searching for updated codes. This sorts itself out when you put in the new codes.

N*hell have just changed their own software so a new flash will have to be developed for the Replay which usually takes a day or so for santa's good little helpers to write.

We will just have to rely on our good friends with "the Box" which doesnt seem to be affected by this outbreak to keep posting the codes from theirs for us in the meantime.

Nice one Novice99.

I just plugged one in I hadn't had connected to the cable network and it didn't work, so it must be a new signal they are sending out.
Working with the new codes now.

Welcome back M8.

Make sure you are not overlooking step 7. (It's very easy to do so)

When you press the blue button to get into NAGRA make sure to use the left arrow four times to bring the Provider to 0X55 & then enter the new codes.

Cheers for the codes folks. Don't have to do the diy now. Hopefully it's only a short term problem.

I've sorted about 15 boxes 2night & the channels started to appear after I entered the first code & pressed OK on all except one box. When I entered the second code in the problem box nothing happened either, then I twigged I was entering the codes under the incorrect provider & sorted it.

Just bare in mind too that the first two digits on the codes are only the key numbers & are not part of the actual code (You don't enter the first two digits.)

Hey gman, thanks for the input. I had keyed in a wrong digit. I went back and reset the keys correctly and all is well now. Only thing is I missed the last episode of " Ashes to Ashes" on BBC 3. Doh !! Thanx to all the boffins who came up with the new codes. Cheers lads...

I think part of the problem was feedbac gien to nhellby us.

They have ben probing certain areas at times, trying new signals.

Unfortunally we gave then the answers by telling them which area's were going off and at which times.

So when the boxes get going again, lets not give them any more.

If your box glitches at certin times and and comes back on your area is being probed.
Don't come on here and tell the nhell spys whats hapening.

Leave them guessing.

I have posted tonights problems to the cable guy, hopefully we should have a solution soon.

Remember loose lips sink ships.

Lots of other boxes went not just ours.

So do we all, but I suspect we could be keying codes for a little while until the gurus tidy up a new software release...

Bet you got a few phone calls? ;-)

Hi Scaldy,

Realistically it should be ON but as they have blocked the Auto Roll, I don't think it matters.

I would leave it ON.

Cheers Scaldy One
