9.10b doesnt allow you to clone

Hi,
Hoping someone can help!
I want to download the software for the replay lite. When I download it from speedyshare.com it results in a 'bin' file which I cannot open or unzip. I thought it was going to be a zip file.
Can anyone help with this?

Yes, the .BIN file is correct.
You also need a file called STBlink 5.20 & it's that program that opens the BIN file for transfer to the box.

Novice - got it working but I had to go up step by step in the firmware - it didn't seem to allow me to jump from say 7.52 to 9.10 - but sure what does it really matter - it works now - thanks anyway.

gday peeps im askimg this question for a mate who hasmt caught up to the 21st centuary yet and doesnt have a computer he has a replay lite and has been updating his keys manually 4 the last two weeks no probs untill last night put in the keys and it froze while exiting at parental control have switched it off and unplugged it and when its plugged back in it still comes up at parental lock page and is still frozen sone body may suggest a factory reset if so how is this done if u cant get into any menus please help hes bugging the hell out of me at this stage everynight codes and now this i dont have a box myself so please if u can help b clr as ill b passing info onto a technophob..

Hmm.. have you left it powered off for long after you unplugged it?
You should leave it powered down for at least 5Min.
your friend doesn't have a pc? Do you? because you may need to flash it now with 7.42a & then again with the new 910

ajsnr1 you will need to flash box to 7.42a and9.10beta read the above threads to find out how

thanks 4 the prompt reply gman im abt to ring him and find out how long hes powered off for as regards to flashing it 4 him thanks but no thanks hes willing to pay someone to do it 4 him if i did it and got it wrong id never hear the end of it i did suggest this origannly but thought better of it

you prob have it sorted by now but that software you hve might be corrupt and one more thing to try this been for every one and to be read now and not havin to be repeated again and again if you get stuck on the loadin part when tryin to put 910 firmware on and it always say's connecting quickly pull the power cord out and back in again
that shoul get it goin and if not there is a agood chance that the firm ware you downloaded is corrupt

i mena i try'd many times to flash my box and got errors like jjvd and couldn get it goin software i got from link on some of the posts in here so thats why i thought it was corrupt downloaded it twice even

Hi Guys
Anybody got new codes for N*Hell Dublin. Went to Maplins city centre and peats today and both are sold out of the cables. Peats will have a new cable in during the week 9 Pin Female to USB that will also do the job, so I've been told. The price will be ?20. Hopefully I'll get the cable jurning the week and fix the problem.

You will need both the cable & adapter if your PC does not have a serial port.
