moggser see you got promoted well done have been on hols so not been around for a while. was glad to see nothing drastic happened to boxes while i was gone. Oh yea Gman got my vote also LOL.

Bulgaria, some of the hotels over there had boxes not sure what type of box had'nt got them in my hotel

Yea great really cheap and brill weather probably the only sun i'll see this summer by the looks of things
By the way out of curiosity i installed 2 new boxes for a friend tonight and i picked up some channel called mainstream or something like that can't remember exactly have you ever heard of it shes on N** dublin

Do want to try this ch##us channel dump file on your replay lite.

Connect the null modem lead.
When you have established your connection.
Select Write Factory Data and get the file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to be transfered from your PC to the box.
When your PC reads "Transfer Complete" WAIT about 15 seconds before unplugging the box and the null modem lead.

Setting up your ?Favourites?
1. Press the menu button
2. Navigate to the Channel Manager Section (top of screen)
3. Go to the TV Channel section and press OK
4. The TV Channel Manager is now available
5. By default you are now on Favourite 1 (pressing the RED button will take you through favourites 1-8).
6. Pressing the GREEN (edit) button allows you to ?Rename the Favourite 1 Menu? to something more appropriate. For example favourites 1-8 as follows:
1 General TV
2 Movies
3 Sports
4 Music
5 Kids
6 Documentaries
7 News
8 Others
7. When you press the Green Button you will have the option to RENAME FAV (navigate to this and press OK). You can now manually rename the Favourite to what you want.
8. When you have finished (with for example ? General TV) press the RED Button and you will now be on Favourites 2 (pressing the RED button will scroll you through each of the EIGHT Favourite menus). If as suggested above you?ve renamed Favourites 2 to Movies.
Rename all the Favourites.
9. Press Yellow Button (sort) on your remote control.
Select Channel name.
The reason I do this is because some of the channels like Music or Movies will be easier to sort as they have similar names and are listed beside each other.
As you scroll through the channel listings you can add your favourites as follows. If you have a favourite sports channel you may want to add the
The Sports Favourites by doing the following.
When your Sports (Favs) near of the top your screen (under TV Channel Manager) is selected with a little white smiley face.
Go to the channel you want to put in the Sports Fav folder by simply OK on you?re remote control
When the channel is stored in your particular folder, you will see a Black Smiley beside your selected channel.
To unselect a particular channel from a Fav?s Folder just press OK on you?re remote control again and the Black smiley Face will disappear.
You can then add it to the folder of your choice.
10. When you are finished with your favourites ? press exit and the data will be saved.

To backup your saved channels and favourites.
Connect the null modem lead to your PC and box and power up the box.
Open up the stb link.
Setup Comm.
Click Read User Data
The file will be called Factory_Data.txt
There will be 64 blocks to download from the box.
Save it to your desktop and re-name it what you want.

If at a later date you do a full rescan and find nothing,
You can reload the file you have saved on your desktop.
But when you have established a connection with the stb link
Click Write Factory Data and get the saved file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to upload.
Make sure as always to wait for the rapidly flashing light.

You can also sort the channels on your PC by cutting and pasting in your saved channel file.

ive not come accross it yet anotoinette
never seen or heard of it and i rescaned few boxs there for laughs and didn see it but what i did see was some channels came in like casdfsdgfui1233432 or to that effect

Ah yeah, i have seen them now that i think about it, they come in on the sv2 & 3 after a scan. They`re not on the sv1.

No, got the day off. I did a bit extra yesterday for the boss (put a speed ramp in for him in the car park) so he gave me the day off. Nice bloke lol.

I`m picking it up on 347.500 khz on the sv. Its mainly classical music. At the moment i`m enjoying Beethovens piano sonatas lol.
