Same company but use different frequencies and symbol rates as they both run off different systems. For scanning on a replay lite on a chorus line change the symbol rate to 6875, the channels should show during the scan. Hope this works for ya

You need 913 firmware for that box.
The red light scenario is nearly always caused by unplugging the Null Modem cable too soon (Before the flash has fully completed).
When the blocks are transferring the red/green light will flash slowly. Even after all the files are transferred by your PC WAIT until the red/green lights flash much more quickly than it did when you could visibly see the files transferring on your PC.
Only then unplug everything and exit the stb link.
Go to the firmware folder and download:
742a
744
913
When you have all these files downloaded, you are ready to go.
____________________________________________________________________
Connect the null modem lead to the box and your PC.
Click on the stblink5.20.zip file and choose run.
Do not do choose the setup comm.
And ignore any errors you see.
Remember UNTICK maintain user data.
Select upgrade software
Get the 742a file from your PC.
From when you see the blocks start to transfer.
It takes 4 mins for the box to be updated.
But make sure you see the led flashing much more quickly than it did when the blocks were transferring. If you leave for even 5 mins it will be OK.
Wait until all the blocks are transferred and WAIT a couple of more minutes for the led to flash much more rapidly than it did when you could visibly see when the blocks were transferring.
Unplug everything and only connect the power lead.
Wait for the led to flash red/green and then stay on green.

When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed
Don't unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed

jfak.
Connect the Null Modem lead (L71BT Maplins)from yout PC to the Box.
Open up the stb link
Click Write Factory Data and get the channel dump file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to upload, they will transfer from your PC to your box.
When your PC reads Transfer Complete WAIT about ten seconds before unplugging the box and null modem lead.
Plug back in the box, when the light goes green. connect the TV cable and scart lead.
The Stblink is in the library, link at the bottom of this post.

Try loading a channel dump file on the box.
This can sometimes kickstart the Replay PVR.
Even if you haven?t got a channel dump file for your area.
load up any one from the library, then do a scan.

Ok kardz, sorry about that. Try this, and if this doesn't work you'll have to wait until someone who knows the frequency comes on: Plug in the box you got from your cable provider. Go to the scrambled Chelsea channel and press help on the menu and the frequency might come up.
Let me know if it works.

Hello wise ones! I have a problem with a replay light which has no sound. I checked the mute function on the box and tv and also switched another box to the scart and power leads and that worked fine. I'm thinking it maybe something on the circuit board which is gone but before I crack it open I thought I'd ask or if the problem has been dealt with before could you send towards the page. Thanks in advance
