so i softmodded my xbox a while back and i was FTPing and i was trying to put XBMC on there, wellll is screwed up big time and i think i deleted some like crucial file like .xbe so my xbox doesn't have a dashboard... well crap this sux

sooo months later i get auto-installer deluxe

i burn the .iso and VWALA is shows up on my xbox

i press some buttons (trying desperately to restore)

reboot my xbox... and guess what? no dashboard...

so i pop in auto-installer deluxe again and no cigar, it doesn't even show up and my error has changed from error 21 to error 13...

so i get slayer evox installer... burn the iso...and it doesn't show up either... but all the retail games do... so what the crap do i do? i don't have the linux files on my HD n e more... and my xbox decided it doesn't wanna read my auto-installer discs.. and i REALLY don't want to hotswap
help pleaseeeee

Try softmodding the xbox again since you can run games.

remember that you can use the 3 games (well to my knowledge) to sfotmod.

yah that'd be grand but i don't have the linux files on there n e more..
since my MS dashboard no longer works.. i can't do n e thing with memory cards so i can't copy them to the HD

Can you load saves from in the games from the memory card?

I'm afraid hotswapping will be the only way out of this.
