Xbox to Xbox Softmod Tutorial
Yes, it is another tutorial for softmodding the xbox this time though we will use just 2 xbox?s and an AID disk
Needed:
2 Xbox?s with the covers off (one modded can either be soft or chipped)
Aid 3 disk (from the usual places)
Procedure:
Take the xbox?s and hook them both all the way up (with the top of the cases off so you can get to the hard drive) with the modded one going to the tv, and let the unmodded box?s cords hang freely
*NOTE: you might want to connect the xbox?s together with alligator clips, but I never used them and I was fine*
Set the consoles back to back
Boot AID in the modded one, and turn the other xbox on
Unplug the first xbox?s hard drive and Hotswap the unmodded box?s hard drive to it
Go to file manager or what ever in AID and check the hard drive to see if it works
If it does, than back up c, f, and your eeprom and maybe FTP them to your computer (just in case)
Have AID install the Softmod and than reboot the xbox
If it does not work, and you get the error that says dash is not found, either try again, or use the data you ftp?d to your computer and xboxhdm and either install ernie and bert that way or restore the drive
