currently there is no downgrader for 3.40 so im afraid not... i said dont upgrade anymore, and just stay at 3.4 for a while until there is a downgrader

Nice, if you searched anywhere on here it would tell you this but...there isn't any estimated time it will take to make a downgrader, they have to find an exploit in the firmware (i.e. a flaw) they also could find it in a game like they did with the 3.03 downgrader. When it comes out it'll be everywhere except sony's site.

3.40 is the newest firmware. you're pretty screwed because only 3.03 and below can downgrade and install a custom firmware.

Current Firmware: 3.03 OE-C
PSP Owner for: 1 1/2 years
Homebrew: F!@% Yeah
Games: Sims 2, Lemmings, Vice City Stories, Un-patched LCS, Cotto Shot

If you do get a modchip... i wouldn't recommend installing it yourself. This is what happened when psphacking101.com tried to install it themselves:

and plus you need all kinds of stuff to install it.

For installation, shipping, And the chip itself (meaning you send it in, they install it for you, then they send it back), it will run you about $250.

I watched the video, and there is somethings I can point out but it would be nit picking. I will say this though.

Never use Liquid Flux on a sensitive device like a PSP, liquid flux is ACIDIC!! it will eat away at the MOBO/Contacts/Surface Coating.

If know how to Solder properly you dont need Liquid Flux.

PSP Info: Factory TA-082 F/W v2.71
Now: v2.71 -> v1.50 -> v3.40 OE-A
