I've heard battle stations midway is much better.I have it but haven't played it yet.

Here are the ratings from IGN
Battlestations Midway at an 8.5
and Blazing Angels at 6.8
why not go there and read up on both and see which sounds better to you. Which game is better is always a matter of personal taste.

Blazing Angel is strictly a WW2 flying game. The other game includes some of everything including operating ships, planes, etc...

They are actually pretty different but I think the latter will keep you interested longer.

Midway is pretty good. Picture COD where you can switch between all the units in your group and give them different orders and objectives. You can use the aa guns on your carrier. Switch over to your bombers and bomb an airfield, then move over to your torpedo planes and torp a destroyer. Then switch over to your fighters. Pretty fun online and offline. This is one of my girlfriends least favorite games though, with tetris being her favoite =(

I can't imagine to many GFs have a favorite game that a guy actually likes!! My wife only likes Tetirs and Lego Star Wars - but hates Rainbow 6 to my dismay.

yeah, not too many girls on Rainbow 6. But i did play with one last week, she is a grandmom from Louisianna and is an Elite! She was a blast to have on the terrorist hunt.
